Luisa Sabella is thrilled to be a member of the Adirondack Shakespeare Company's production of Richard III. She has had a long term love affair with the words of Shakespeare and can't wait to delve into this unique process. This year has been an exciting one for Luisa. She played a lead in the world premiere of "Stone Soup", an off-broadway musical with the Literally Alive Children's Theater, and also performed with the RWN Playwrights Lab. She can also be seen doing featured background work in the Ang Lee movie, "Taking Woodstock" which premiered this past August. She received most of her training at Hunter College where she completed a bachelors in theater and vocal performance. Since graduating she has continued to supplement her acting through classes at the Stella Adler school, and with casting director Bob Cline. Plans for the future include venturing into the world of improv and taking some film classes, but will be sure to keep you updated!!
