Caroline was born and raised in Romania, where she studied at the National University of Theatre and Film with Florin Zamfirescu. She moved to the US to study acting at the graduate program of the University of Connecticut.
As a graduate student at UCONN, Caroline appeared in CRT’s productions of Comedy of Errors (Courtesan), Galileo (Ballad singer’s wife/H.Weigel), Hair (Tribe), Pericles (Bawd), and the Winter’s Tale graduate project as Hermione. While in Romania she played at the National Theatre of Romania in Chicago (MC/cover Velma Kelly). She also appeared in Biloxi Blues (Rowena), The Crucible (Tituba) and in several featured films (Modigliani-dir.Mick Davis, Vacuums-dir.Luke Creswell etc) and TV series (Emergency Room-dir.Andrei Zinca, The Bachelors). In New York, Caroline has been part of the Blind Trip project - NYC 2010 and of the world premiere of TRAIN TO 2010 (Eunice/Dancer) at the Crossroads Theatre directed by Ricardo Khan.
